Brandon Baggett

This modernized magician began his love for magic at unusually young age. Since the age of 3, Brandon has been performing for live audiences following in his father’s footsteps as a magician. Beginning with birthday parties at the age of 13, and by the age of 15 Brandon was introduced by Carnival Cruise Lines to be one of the youngest ever to perform his own show. After high school the magician explored his opportunities full time into a magic career. In the summer of 2007 Brandon was announced as the park magician for Six Flags over St. Louis, Mo. He is currently working comedy clubs and corporate events all across the United States, and now today he brings his unique style of magic to you live!

Steve Haffner is a full-time professional magician in Louisville, Kentucky. Matthew David Stanley combines stand-up comedy with mind-blowing magic for a result that is truly entertaining. He is the proud recipient of the “Lance Burton Award” in Las Vegas, NV and the “International Brotherhood of Magicians Stage Champion Award” in Kansas City, MO in addition to many other National and International titles.

Anthony The GREAT!

Anthony the GREAT is the stage persona of Richmond, Indiana magician Tony Truitt. This character was first created at Richmond Civic Theater in October of 2009 at the theater’s 100th anniversary show that Truitt performed in. Directed by David Cobine and Michele Avery the show featured performances reminiscent of acts that actually appeared at the Murray Theater throughout its history. Truitt said “the performance and character were so well-received and so many people made so many nice comments about it that I knew I just had to look into doing more with Anthony the GREAT” The show concept has been expanded to create a stand-alone forty-five minute show that while being entirely family-friendly, does appeal primarily to the sense of humor of adults while creating a fun, energetic show that recalls this golden era of magical performance. Anthony the GREAT is not to be missed.

Ken Abbott will join us once again with his dry wit and amazing sleight-of-hand. Ken won the Louisville Magic Club Close-up contest 4 years in a row. Ken is a lawyer but we still let him perform with us.

Bending A Steel Bar

Gavin Rulon is an Olde-time Vaudeville Strongman. He has twisted horseshoes, bent wrenches and steel bars, torn entire decks of cards and even has driven a nail thru a 2×6 with only his hand!

Gavin has performed his amazing feats of strength in churches, theaters, county fairs, birthday parties, roller derby halftime shows and you may have seen a glimpse of him bending a steel bar on a popular national televised talent show.

John comes from Pittsburg and his making his first appearance at Derby City Magic. He has won many awards and has a very creative mind. He might even get inside of yours!

Frankie Foolya

Frankie is making is 12th appearance at Derby City Magic. He talks fast for misdirection so you don’t see his “secret moves”. Come be part of Frankie Foolya’s world!
